Well hello there! Welcome to the first Studio LMD blog post!
Over the past year I have been working on some incredible homes that have helped to build the Studio LMD portfolio which I will feature on this blog along with renovation tips and tricks, new products that we love, interviews with some incredible designers and artists and just all things design!
To kick start, I would like to introduce you to View Residence. This special property started as an original workers cottage that was raised and extended with a two-storey addition to the home's rear. Big House Little House designed a thoughtful extension that paid tribute to the original cottage whilst giving the home new life with a contemporary extension.
Studio LMD worked closely with the client to design the interior direction, carefully considering materials and detailing that is reflected in the meticulous craftsmanship from Stephen Barry Constructions. Every room in View Residence has pockets of unique beauty whether it be wallpaper, feature mosaic tiles, stair handrails and quirky cabinetry handles.
View Residence is the result of an incredible shared vision and an artisan build team that has created the ultimate Paddington dream house.
