Initial Consultation

This is the first stage of the design process and is the initial consultation with yourself and Leila. We use this time to meet on site (if possible) with you to discuss your project, goals, priorities and needs for the space. We use this time to clarify your budget and to explain and discuss our design process and how our fees are structured.

When possible we love to collect as much documentary information as possible in regards to your space. This can include photos on site, floor plans, initial measurements, as well as documenting any limitations that need to be taken into account.

Conceptual Design + Review

From our initial consultation we collate this information and issue a return brief document which includes the overall scope of works for your project. We then research and prepare concept imagery and initial drawings for your review.

You provide us with feedback and we refine the design to get it just right. We then present the final concept design for your approval.

Finalise Design + Specify Selections

The approved concept design is developed into a package of drawings & documents explaining the internal and external elements of the design, which are used to obtain preliminary cost estimates for the scope of works.

The outcome of this phase will allow a seamless transition into Construction Documentation.

Construction Documentation

The developed design is advanced into a set of drawings, schedules & specifications. This phase includes technical drawings, specification of finishes, fittings, equipment and general design instructions.

This package of documents provided will be suitable for procuring a builder as well as obtaining building permit approval if required.
